Personally, I actually prefer high-ante rounds to low-ante rounds. This is probably because I am a regular hyper-turbo sit-n-go poker player, as well as a mathematician. I think my edge is a lot higher in those rounds. There's a lot more math (pot odds, etc.) involved when it comes to betting/bluffing/calling in later rounds. I get sad when people leave my game after round 6 or 7.

Well, the main thing is obviously when someone joins a game I started. There's been at least once or twice where it hasn't chimed then. But yeah, I may have had the window minimized instead of just in the background. I'll try to not minimize it, and see if it still happens.

Do the chimes go off (when someone joins or action is needed) even if the window doesn't have focus? I was thinking it did, but just a bit ago, it didn't. But then later, I think it did. Is there anything that would prevent the chimes from going off when the window doesn't have focus? Does it have to be not-minimized? Some other factor I'm not considering?
Obviously, I haven't tested much to see when it does and doesn't -- was hoping someone else would know.

No idea what they said to you, but yeah, 2+2 is very strict about people affiliated with commercial products posting on their site. In order to do so, you have to sign up as an official advertiser (and with that obviously comes paying them advertising money).
