Mm, I've hit my budget. I can throw down a $3 game, otherwise I'll start hitting up the ~$10 region next week.

Nice picture! I never got around to finishing Hikaru no Go. I should start watching it again as I learn to better play Cordial Minuet. Maybe then I'll be confident enough in my own skill to play more than $1.00 games.

It was pretty good! Hikaru no Go was one of only two animes I've ever watched (I just finished Code Geass after significant cajoling from a friend). I played it in college while attending a go club and it always kept me motivated. The thing I loved about it and why I posted that image is that it took a slow, quiet, and ostensibly boring game and cranked up the melodrama to the point where you might as well have been watching a mech battle.

Thanks to Hikaru no Go I also got into playing Go. I really liked the manga and the anime back then, however I assume HnG didn't age well.
