Leaving the table

Hey everyone!

I have got some questions regarding leaving the table.

1. When should you leave in order to take the win of your last play but before you have to pay the ante for the next round? Is it OK to leave even before all the animations are finished (points moving into your stack)?

2. When do you usually leave the table? In normal circumstances my points or the ones of my opponent are down to 35 points or below when I start consider leaving the table.
Do you usually play until one player is out of points?

Re: Leaving the table

1. As soon as the payout animation begins, you can leave and you won't pay the next ante.

2. I used to often play a table out completely, but now it's best to leave before the ante is roughly equal to the opponent's stack. Otherwise, you'll end up essentially going all-in before even seeing your first number.

Re: Leaving the table

I really dislike the guys who just stay for one to two plays or just want to have a handful of chips above 100.

Yes, I really hope it doesn't become a too common behavior as it takes away the pleasure of trying to "understand" and outwit the opponent.

I think that a 1 coin fee to be given to the opponent if you leave (or anything similar) might help.
