I was wondering if anyone else has this problem... sometimes I get way too focused on the board and which columns I'm picking next that, for whatever stupid reason, I set the sliders without looking at their color and I get them backwards. I don't know why, because they always start in the same position, but it's really screwed me over sometimes. Especially now during the contest, with all the excitement and fatigue of hour+ games...
I know obviously the solution is to actually look at the damn sliders, but sometimes I space out.
Does anyone else do this?

I've done this a few times. I see the ink appear, and I'm like, "Wait a moment..."
On occasion, it actually works out better, and I'm happy about my ditziness.
But on pick 3, I'm very careful, and I double-check I've placed the slider correctly-- especially when I've got a forced win.

You could try turning on colorblind mode to change the color of the sliders. I've started choosing columns by using the number keys, 1-6. First press selects your column, second selects opponent's. Enter bets, F folds. Maybe that will work for you?

I'm very careful on the third pick too. I usually get it wrong on the second pick, because I'm analyzing the first numbers and looking at the graph and figuring out what columns to pick and WAIT WHY IS MY COLUMN TURNING RED??!?
Hm, I hadn't thought of colorblind mode. I have thought about trying the number pad, but I'm worried I'll mess that up ever more! I'll give it a shot, though.

I've made the same mistake several times too. Quite rarely
Games over an hour long? I doubt I've ever played one that long, though I play plenty of drawn out ones.

Maybe they just feel an hour long? I'm pretty sure my last match against claspa was that long. It certainly took a few years off my life, at least.
