Just a possible suggestion for a button to toggle/rotate the board to give us the opponents view of the board mid-round? I know that you can just turn your head to see the opponents rows/columns but I think it would be nice to be able to see the opponents view normally. Anyone else agree?

The "my perspective is different from your perspective, my black is your white" is an aesthetic theme that has run through my games for the past 6 years or so. Between, Diamond Trust, and even The Castle Doctrine.
Allowing the player to see through their opponent's eyes in-game would spoil this aesthetic. The abyss is the abyss.

"The abyss is the abyss."
I like that.

I completely understand the desire for an 'opponent view'. I wanted the same thing at the start. I started just forcing myself to consider the rows at the start of each turn and after a few days it became very easy to see the board either as columns or rows. It would be nice for newcomers but with a bit of practice it's not a big issue.
