I want my winning board in gold.
Similar like this:
(I just had Paint here, I am sure everyone of you could have done a better job)
Still, having it refresh "out from under you" when you're about to click on a game would be annoying. I forgot about that.
It almost seems like the refresh button should disappear for 5 seconds after you hit it, just to prevent you from spamming it.
ah, I understand that.
Sorry, I am not good in describing.
"When you hit refresh, it shows you ALL open games in existence."
But then it stops searching.
I would like to have the option that it will refresh every 10 seconds.
1) Now the first thing I don't understand: sometimes in the number reveal round, my opponent's number was revealed before I chose my number. I can't remember what the circumstances were, for example, maybe I had an automatic win, i.e. both my possible numbers were higher than theirs. But I remember thinking it was odd, especially since their reveal might affect what you choose to reveal. This has happened to me only rarely, so maybe it's only triggered when it doesn't matter which number your opponent chooses...?
Happened to me once too (when playing Clock Form).
Hey there,
Currently if you click on refresh it searches for open games. If it finds one it will stop searching.
Mostly Clock Form's 1-4c games are open, however I am not interested in them.
Would it be possible that, if you press refresh again, it will search again but for other open games? Maybe continiusly?
Edit: Oh, it's also not so helpful, when there is a game open which you cannot afford.
thank you, jere, this is great!
What I REALLY don't want is people leaving after bullying a chip or two out of someone. That is not interesting at all.
...
So, I'm thinking that bullying a chip or two out of someone is a more viable strategy here than it is in Poker.
Thanks! I think this is a good solution. These leavers were annoying.
I wonder how many people were already doing this. Maybe I've shared too much, but at least I have more content for Creature Expression's Pro Tips Volume II!
You were not the only one doing this.
Looking forward to v13.
Thanks for adding the picture.
Now, we can try to explain the problem again.
The grid of both pictures is exactly the same.
In the second picture (gif) if I move the cursor to a certain number it tells me the possible results if I choose this column and the other one for my opponent. You can see this in the picture, you get reduced data and more specific information.
In the first picture (not-gif) I don't get this view when you move the cursor to the same number. It shows you several possible results and data.
Thanks for this gif-file. I now fully understand what you're trying to say. I want to support your side, jere.
I think for clarification you could make a gif and show how the side changes during the bet, just to see the difference.
During the 2nd bet it does not show you directly that if you choose a certain colomn you will win certainly.
I am starting to like the rising ante.
Regarding the guys who just play 2-3 games very aggressively and leave after taking just the ante or a little bit more than 100 coins I think the rising ante is working in their favor. What do you think about the first 2-3 games with an ante of just 1?
I really dislike the guys who just stay for one to two plays or just want to have a handful of chips above 100.
Will visitors play offline against each other or online against us sharks?
OK, I see. It's more about the immediate possibility to track down your former opponent. The twitter posts are still fine.
I am not sure I can follow this. What is the "harm" knowing in hindsight against whom you played?
Second, I can imagine some players abusing other players through chat. Bovada poker is anonymous in that you can't track your opponent across games, but they still have a chat feature in a given game, and I've seen it used abusively.
Finally, I really like the idea of communicating THROUGH the game itself. What does the entrance layout of your house SAY in The castle Doctrine? What does your bet say in Cordial Minuet? I want to keep the focus on that kind of through-the-game communication.
I am totally on the same page here. Don't miss an ingame chat at all.
It's great, thanks. I like to get to know in hindsight against whom I've just played.
I prefer smart opponents. Playing against Jeopardy Alcohol could be quite inspiring.
Thanks to Hikaru no Go I also got into playing Go. I really liked the manga and the anime back then, however I assume HnG didn't age well.
Ok, so I made up my mind. The rising of the ante is making the play more interesting.
However I really think that it is rising too steep. I have less time to gather data of my opponents play and I have less time for some unusual plays to disrupt my method and so to put the opponent off my scent.
I understand what Jason is saying about an ante rise like "1-1-2-2-3-3" (2plays +1) or "1-1-1-3-3-3-5-5-5" could be unusual for new players, maybe we can find a solution for this.
What about this? When putting Ante on the table it could say "Ante: 2 (Next Round: 3)".
Hey everyone!
I have got some questions regarding leaving the table.
1. When should you leave in order to take the win of your last play but before you have to pay the ante for the next round? Is it OK to leave even before all the animations are finished (points moving into your stack)?
2. When do you usually leave the table? In normal circumstances my points or the ones of my opponent are down to 35 points or below when I start consider leaving the table.
Do you usually play until one player is out of points?
The rising of the ante is definitely adding more pressure.
I haven't made up my mind whether I like it or not, however I think that the ante is rising too steep.
What about "1-1-2-2-3-3" (2plays +1) or "1-1-1-3-3-3-5-5-5" (3plays +2)?
